The Design Process
- MEET & DISCUSS WITH CLIENT
Lots of listening & learning happens at the very beginning of every project, no matter the size and scale. The client has an opportunity to openly share thoughts, ideas, concerns, frustrations. The client presents budget and timeframe expectations at this stage.The TEAM mentality is presented to the client – ie, Client, Builder/Contractor, Specialist Trades, Architect (if necessary), and Interior Designer, all work together toward the same goal.
- Q&CO DRAFTS PROPOSAL
Q&Co aims to fulfill the the client’s preferences in terms of visual appeal and a more coordinated aesthetic, as well as comfort and functionality within the space. Specific items AND specific prices are presented to the client. Scheme boards/mood boards – physical or electronic files.Builders, contractors, tradesmen, artisans are presented to the client – so that they know who The TEAM is.
PROCUREMENT, PROJECT MANAGEMENT & INSTALLATION
Q&Co works together with suppliers & vendors, as well as contractors, artisans (ie, The TEAM) on order procurement, managing deliveries, and overseeing on-site labour and installations, ensuring that each detail is executed to everyone’s satisfaction. Upon project completion, the parties will carry out a walkthrough together using a punch list to address any concerns or outstanding issues.
