Before moving to a retirement community in Richmond, Virginia, this repeat client asked Q&Co to do for them what we had done in their Williamsburg home – create vibrant spaces with movement and colour.
Working with some pieces of furniture and upholstery already in their possession, we re-upholstered a few armchairs, designed a new rug, and crafted new scatter cushions and pillows for the sofas and swivel chairs.
We imbued the room with much more green, as this is the client’s favourite energizing colour.
Handwoven in India from 100% cotton, this bespoke dhurrie rug was created to address the client’s wool allergy. Cotton’s exceptional dyeability allowed us to achieve vibrant, custom colours and precisely proportioned patterns, resulting in a unique and durable flatweave rug designed specifically for this space.
